we're given 18 meal vouchers for the whole year.

seniors will invite us to be their guests in the restaurant.

of course the lecturer will observed their serving skills besides.

time : 7pm - 930pm.

venue : santaines restaurant, taylors college.

server : yongyee. [term6 student.]

guests : Rachel, Celes, Jingyi and Yenwei :)

appertizer : orange + guava ?

main course : chicken. :)

dessert : pineapple caramel.

food court ? not really actually.

my first pastry class

firday was the day i officially started my first class in taylors.

and it began with pastry class.

started my class on 8am until 11am.
we had to team up in pairs.

and Celes will be my partner for sure. :)

we were asked by chef Shaari to bake a butter cake that day.

we given 15mins to measure and ready those ingredients

and he teached us how to mix butter.. sugar... eggs... and others.

quite complicated. =/

after mixed up everythings into a big mixing bowl,

i compared my mixture with my friends.

and i start wondering.. why mine's so watery hurr ?

i asked chef shaari about that.

Chef / yenwei
: i think you put too many sugar.

: nola. 200grams mah. i measured just now.

: huh ? i think some problem with ur measurement.

: WHAT ? then how ? have to do again ?

: nonit. jus continue with it. and we'll see the product later.

: =.= ... ... *speechless*

after mixing and tossing around, finally setting in a pan and bake it.

while waiting for the cake, we continue with our icing.

i was thought icing will be much better than the base cuz its quite easy actually.

but who knows ? smtg happened again ..

we cant mix our butter completely with the syrup.

omgomgomg. we really dont know what can we do at that moment.

and our chef keep repeating the same things : ' nvm.. wil see the product later ... '

yesh, we have to put everything into the fridge and wait for bout 15 mins.

i admit smtg wrong with my measurement lahs. ;p

but chef shaari said will let us try again for the next lesson.

hope i will come out with a nice and delicious cake next time :D

ok. first, i think i have to skip my birthday post.
cuz its too long and i have to wait for those photos from my sister.
now, im here to share something about my college lyfe.. :)

8th of april - 1st day of orientation.

my 1st friend : Lisa ( malacca girl. )
woke up at 730 and reached school around 9.
then i went to make fee payment at the cashier.
its really a long queue. =/
went to auditorium to report ourself and get a taylors t-shirt and a bag.
its all in black. lol.
around 930, our chief operating officer gave a LONG speech that makes me keep yawning in autitorium. damn sleeepyyy kay ? =S
and he's so CUTE. xD
then, *taadaa* we got an english placement test.
and the test was like... abit difficult for me as in listening and essay part ?
the title was...
"do u think internet teaching is better than lecturer teaching face to face ? are u agree with it ?"
WDH. im so lazy to think of those points for my essay kay ?
well, the listening part was like those conversations already recorded and the sound its not that clear when played back kay ?
stupid lol.
i was like.. aiya cincai larhs ! and my writing was very ugly that time.
dont care de.
i jus wana go out from this hall and wana chase away those sleepy worms in my body ! XD.
break time from 12pm til 1pm, but i ate biscuits nee. lol.
then continue with those LONG speechs.. til 3pm.
ohyes. finally can get out from the hall gain, we went for campus tour.
and like... woah. the campus was reallyyy huge.
as for mee lahs. 1st day ma. hehe.
before dismiss, we measure our uniforms [ chef uni, waitress uni, size of safety shoes and etc. ]
sound interesting right ? =p

9th of april - 2nd day of orientation.

my 2nd and 3rd friends : Celestine ( sandakan girl ) and jingyi ( from klang )
its almost the same with first day of orientation.
nothing much except that we get to know our results for the eng paper de.
omgomgomgg ! so damn nervous and worried bout it.
i scared i cant be exempted for english lesson lerhs. =S
we about 100+ students are going to divided into 9 groups.
each group got different timetable for their theory and practical classes.
usually, group 1 and group 2 are always groups that get to exempted from eng.
the programme director shows us the name list and i keep finding my name..
after check through the list.. i was like. OMG. i cant find my name from group 1 and 2.
which mean i have to take eng lessons for term 1 and term 2 ? AHHH ! :(
after 5 mins, i saw my name was in group 4. and celes too ! *high5*
the lecturer then announced that...
actually, group 3 - group 5 in this batch are also exempted from taking eng papers !
we 2 looked at each others and suddenly we shout : AHHHH ! yeahhhhhh ! :D:D
the main reason i felt so happiee that day is because..
atleast got celes same group with me and ...
we can walk to school.. have lunch.. break.. do assignment together. :)
*thanksgod* heh.
not like other friends, they are alone kay ?

omggg. pity pity. but atleast we'll meet together for lunch everyday. <3

10th of april - 3rd day of orientation.
nothing special today. its jus teambuilding session.
from morning 9 - 1230.
we just fooled , jokes around that day.
and i found out that im the oldest among all april babies. =/
but im proud to be. X)

quite interesting actually. heh.

time : 12pm - 5pm.

venue : an island ? lol

i went fishing with songsen and his friends.

a new try for me :)

we reached that island by a small boat ? or sampan ?

songsen told me its a boat. but act its sampan.

he lied to me -.- but..

aiya. both also same lahs ;p

reached there around 3am ?

and i started coughing and sore throat.

monday - 10th of march.

stayed at home whole day.

and started not feeling well.

mom asked me whether wana go see doctor not ?

i refused to do so bcuz of i dowan eat medicine.

i just ate few panadols and hope that i can recover soon.

unfortunately, i get high fever at night.

i still refused to go see doctor as i think it will recover after ate some panadols.

tuesday - 11st of march.

i was so sickkk that day :(

i stayed at home whole day.

it also the day some friends back from ns.

OMG !

i messaged aimun, and she told me she's havin lunch with her family.

okay fine. she said she will give me a call when she reach home.
so, i wait for her call. but atlast, she forgot to cal me. =/

i called cindy and wish her happie belated buffday.

im so sorry darling. heh.

night, i was so nervous about spm results tomorrow.

i cant sleep well that night....

wednesday - 12nd of march.

woke up at 7am and went to 24hrs clinic that near my house.

doctor said i get high fever and other illness. whatever lahs.

i requested syrups as my medicine from doctor.

but.. the doctor refused to gave me that and he said i must learn how to take TABLETS !

i was like.... omg. cincai de lahssssss !

i just need medicine !

i was so sick at that moment.

finally, fever recovered after ate antibiotics.

i felt better after that and i started felt nervous and worried bout my results...

how was my spm results ?

just check back my previous posts and u'll know that its GOOD or sucks. LOL.

thursday - 13rd of march.

fever recovered and very energetic that day.

this proved that the medicine given by that doc is works ! lol.

hang out with WC at queensbay that day. met up around 2 ? forgotten.

watched rule no 1 that day. cindy called me up before we enter the cinema.

she wants to join us for the movie.

i thought she will bring along her ic or driving license, so i dint tell her that this movie is 18PL ? o.o

i bought her 2 tickets and i start wondered who she came with.

after 10 mins, she reached. with her brother ? lol.

but too bad. they couldnt join us for the movie because of cindy didnt bring any documents that can proved her identity. -.-

they were allowed to change movie. so there watched spiderwick at last.

luckily lahs. if not, they have to waste rm14 for 2 tickets. XD.

friday until tuesday - 21st - 25th of march.

i already forgotten what i done and who i hang out with these few days.

but i know that i hang out with... aimun , sherlyn , eevon , cindy in these few days.
